Another example of my handpainting. This time, for detail, I added tiny fountain rocks to give it a tad bit of texture!

This dress is casual cool. Made of 100% cotton with little "ornamental" details here and there. I enjoy graphic design and handpainting so I decided to combine the two. I came up with this

design and painted it out onto the dress. My "model" is short as it is obviously meant for a much taller person. I chose a mettalic bias tape to outline the neck. It is in my nature to play with lines hence the obvious departure from what is considered a normal collar.

Sample 2A and 2B are made of blue stretch polyester, silk, and mesh. I would consider this a cocktail dress for a woman who is playful. Although the "thought" is not pictured, the dress is was designed so that the detail could be worn on either side.

Sample #4 is the only reconstruction posted here. This "top" was actually the bottom of a vintage dress that I purchased in a yard sale for $1. I added straps, and then added lace to the straps. It was 90% finished which is why you see the little bunch near the shoulder.

This top is made from 100% cotton and drapes nicely across the shoulders. The sequined patch was added for a slightly dramatic effect. The stripes are playful yet open to possibilities of somewhat hiding under a blazer for day and hanging out with the girls at night.
